Notice of Temporary Road Closure - Concession # 1 Tuesday May 15 from 9am to 9pm
Please be advised that “Concession #1 Road” between Brawn Road & Daley Ditch Road – see attached map, will be closed to through traffic on Tuesday, May 15 from 9:00 a.m. until approximately 9:00 p.m. as Township of Wainfleet completes culvert repairs under the road. All emergency services will be notified.

2012 Senior Achievement Award Program

Each year, the Government of Ontario celebrates the accomplishments and contributions many of our wonderful seniors make to communities across Ontario. The Senior Achievement Award highlights the significant voluntary and professional achievements made by individuals after they have reached the age of 65.

Comprehensive Zoning Bylaw and Site Plan Control Guidelines Project

In April 2011, the Township of Wainfleet Planning Department started the Zoning Bylaw and Site Plan Control Guidelines project. The Township of Wainfleet is proposing to develop new Zoning Bylaw and Site Plan Control Guidelines with the goal of creating a superior, progressive regulatory document which appropriately implements the principles and policies of the Provincial Growth Plan, the Region of Niagara Policy Plan and the new Township of Wainfleet Official Plan. Public and other stakeholder participation is key to the success The Township’s Official Plan was adopted by Council on September 14, 2010 and is awaiting approval by the Region of Niagara. The Township of Wainfleet has retained the planning services of Sorenson Gravely Lowes Planning Associated Inc. to assist in the completion of the project.
