While fire can happen anywhere at any time, it most often strikes when people let their guard down – when individuals are distracted by the hustle and bustle of the holidays, by the telephone, by the kids or by deliveries at the front door.

The Wainfleet Firefighters Association are conducting a food drive at the Wainfleet Arena on Sunday, December 8th starting at 12:30pm. Admission to a public skate (from 12:30 to 1:30) will be free for a food donation.
A group of interested Wainfleet citizens is erecting a cenotaph on the empty lot adjacent to the Firehall and running parallel to Sugarloaf Street
The group has chosen a design.

This survey is being conducted to gather information about and from Wainfleet residents, help Council and staff establish performance levels and help guide strategic policy and planning decisions.Results of the survey will help Council understand and address the issues that are important to all residents of the Township.
The Township is preparing a new Comprehensive Zoning By-law that regulates all lands in the Township. If you have any plans to build, modify or otherwise change the uses on your property, you are invited to find out how this project may affect you.
