Niagara Region Transit and Via, a leader in public mobility solutions, will launch a new on-demand transit service in West Niagara on August 17, 2020. “NRT OnDemand” will provide Wainfleet residents with an affordable, efficient and convenient public transit option to bring riders to and from transit hubs at either the St. Catharines Bus Terminal, Welland Bus Terminal, or Port Colborne City Hall.

​On July 23, 2020, as part of their efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, Niagara Regional Council approved a by-law making it mandatory to wear a face covering or non-medical mask in enclosed public places.  More information is available at the Niagara Region website.
