Wainfleet Council is seeking citizen applications to various Boards and Committees for the 2022-2026 term. The deadline to apply is January 2 @ 4:30pm.

Members of the Wainfleet community have organized a Christmas parade in the Township! It will commence at St. Elizabeth School at 6:30 p.m.

Once again, the Wainfleet Volunteer Firefighters Association will be conducting a Christmas Food Drive on Sunday, December 11, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Drop off location is the Wainfleet Firefighter's Community Hall (behind Fire Station #2).

Firefighter's will be in attendance to help you "off-load". Canned food and non-perishables only please. Donated food will be used to fill  community Christmas baskets.

The Planning Department has initiated a zoning by-law amendment process to increase the permitted lot coverage for a single detached dwelling in the Residential - R1 zone under Zoning By-law 581-78 and in the Residential Hamlet - RH zone under Zoning By-law 034-2014 from 7% to 10%. The proposed amendment applies to all lands within the Township within a Residential - R1 or Residential Hamlet - RH zone and as such a key map has not been provided.
