All dogs in Wainfleet must be licensed as outlined in the Township's Dog Control By-law.
The licensing of dogs is carried out by the Niagara SPCA who has partnered with DocuPet, an online licensing system to manage the issuance of all dog tags for the Township. Each dog tag connects to your online account through a unique ID code.
Wainfleet's licensing program operates on a calendar year. This means that all licenses expire December 31st. License fees are discounted if purchased before December 31st for the following year and if your dog is sterilized. Please note that dogs are required to wear their dog tags.
